quick silly little theory on Headwick: only the one you meet in Monster Marsh is the real one, and here's why i think that. conspiracy theory corkboard incoming, you have been warned < 3 Headwick in Monster Marsh is actually animated (toddles around everywhere) and has a bit more personality within his intended setting. he genuinely wants to see you succeed there, but is blinded by all the insane happenings of the marsh and the surrounding lands. he acts like he does because he is exhausted from having to live in this knockoff Lovecraftian setting, now being tormented by practically a psychic eldritch entity, or rather, the closest thing in canon to one. Telescope Towers, however, sees Headwick with a lot more of a chipper and kinda vapid inflection, and while that could be chalked up to him finally leaving the marsh, i decided that his inflections within that chapter were SCARILY similar to (to no one's surprise) a preteen of the time this game was released. i personally think this is no coincidence, as Dreamcatcher is an entity capable of making psychic attacks physical. this Headwick even likes to disappear into a puff of smoke, indicating some form of either reality bending foul play or possibly illusions. what i am getting at, in the end, is that the Headwick you meet in Telescope Towers is most likely a False Headwick, a doppelganger derived entirely from the skylander's experience with him thus far. False Headwick is an extension of the Dream Realm. source: i played and replayed both of these levels religiously for a solid 7 years. the hyperfixation waits for no one as i vibrate into the next plane of reality augmented by Mountain Dew Baja Blast and undiagnosed ADHD FINAL ADDENDUM: basically im saying the point of him being here is world building and power scaling. with this theory he serves as an extremely low-key demonstration of what the villain of the week is capable of
